Yoga Movement Sarsha

Let me introduce myself. I’m Sarsha the founder and Yoga Movement teacher here at Yoga Movement Studio. Yoga has been part of my life since the mid 1990’s and I have been teaching since the mid 2000’s – the noughties!

I feel the benefits of Yoga Movement practice daily – physically, mentally and emotionally.

I came to yoga because of back pain and yoga has also supported me through some tough mental and emotional times. I totally understand that yoga doesn’t have to be about advanced/extreme poses to have benefits.

Yoga Movement is about meeting you exactly where you are at!

Over the years I have taught in a variety of places from fitness/leisure centres, a spa, at a physiotherapist’s, a chiropractic practice and in a shared studio at 54 Bridge Street. I have worked with 1-2-1 clients, taught large groups (20+) and small groups (less than 10). I have truly enjoyed it all. Through this wealth of experience I have found my passion lies in teaching small groups. And from this Yoga Movement Studio was born – An urban sanctuary tucked away on the top floor of 54 Bridge street, Gainsborough. YMS was independently founded in July 2019 solely for the purpose of teaching small group yoga as supple health for people who think yoga is not for them.

I love to deliver yoga as sustainable movement and mindful stillness – my favourite way to describe my yoga is as – yoga as sustainable movement and mindful stillness.

In my classes I aim to provide a space for you to be you with no expectations.

A place for you to truly explore your movement and mindset potential.

I have also studied and hold qualifications/certifications in Matwork Pilates, Scientific stretching, pure stretch, yoga nidra, yin yoga, crystal singing bowls and more – checkout the blog post -Experience, Qualifications, CPD,s – Date 28/2/22

I know from feedback from clients that my classes promote increased flexibility, mobility and stability, better sleep, confidence boost, increased strength, happiness, self belief, enjoyment of yoga and understanding of yoga and how it impacts the body, mind and soul.

Yours in Movement & Stillness,

Sarsha
