I am so passionate about yoga and over time and after many years of working the local fitness centers, a spa, village halls and working along side a local physiotherapist and a chiropractor. Although I loved working at the places and with all people within these places.
I realised I didn’t want to have to be carting kit around all the time, traveling from one place to another. I wanted a studio of my own to create a place for all to practice mindful movement in an environment that is calming, relaxing, inviting and decorated with beautiful things.
A sanctuary for body and mind.
And here at Yoga Movement Studio I can now start to define my yoga. “Yoga Movement” for real bodies real people. For you. If you think that yoga is not for you, or you don’t have the right body for yoga. Then think again. The only way to get the right body for yoga is to do yoga. Yoga Movement is about getting to know your body understanding how it moves, how it likes to move. It’s not about standing on your head or being able to attain the perfect yoga pose. It’s about learning how good it can feel to move your body. And how moving you body through yoga poses and ending with a mindful relaxation will help alleviate daily stresses and strains, aches and pains.
It’s about finding harmony within your body and mind.
